A wacky, thankful story the whole family writes together. Fill in the word lists, drop them into the blanks, and read your creation aloud.

  1. 1Have each guest secretly write a favorite item (something they have or wish to have) on the back of their nametag and place it in a bowl.
  2. 2Have everyone at the table help fill in the specified words below (rotate turns).

Thankfulness Story

On a beautiful sunny day in ________, ________ woke up to the melodic sound of a ________ singing in his own unusual ________ way. ________ was a bit surprised that a ________ could do that. He/she grinned at the lovely sound.

Excitedly, ________ ________ from the ________ he slept on and grabbed his/her ________ shaped phone to call his/her friends for this special day. ________ was the first on the call list. "________ ________!" ________ exclaimed when ________ answered on the ________ ring. "Are you coming to my ________ ________ themed party today?"
