Recently, I became strangely addicted to The Vampire Diaries. I know, that's kinda creepy for someone my age. It's essentially Netflix's fault for giving me a free month trial of their service so that I could watch 3 entire seasons. Latest I've stayed up in years.
Anyway, I'm a big fan of movies as well. Here are some links for free trial offers and codes for free rentals.
Amazon: I get a free trial near Christmas when possible so that I can get free shipping. They have tons of free instant streaming.
Netflix: Check for free trials.
Redbox: Several free codes you can use right away thanks to Coupon Dad. Sign up for their texting and email as well. I get tons of free codes that way.
Hulu: I have heard of them but never tried their service. Please share your opinions!
Network Sites
Check online at your favorite networks to stream your favorite series for free and many movies as well.
The Library
Local libraries have tons of free flicks! Just remember, that if you don't return them in a set amount of time, you may be charged a late fee (another good date to write on your calendar as a reminder).
Keep in mind, many of the pay per month options are not a great bargain if you only watch a few. Shipping time and the limited availability of new releases that can be streamed may mean you end up paying more per movie than it's worth. Don't forget to write the cancel date on your calendar or your credit card will be automatically charged!
