Menu — Fairy Tale Party Food Ideas
The Forest. Since eating trees is a little strange, create a hummus river lined with standing broccoli florets.
The Bones. Chicken wings are perfect. If you don't have time to make them from scratch, drop by your local grocery store or grab some from your favorite pizza place.
Candied Fruit. Homemade fruit snacks are a healthier way to incorporate all the enticing candy in the story.
The House. This is a great after-dinner activity. Lay out newspaper. Set up containers with graham crackers, icing and various toppings. PBS has some tips on how to build a gingerbread house with graham crackers.
Decor and Ambiance for A Fairy Tale Party
Get the kids creative with table settings, fun outfits to wear and a little music for the background. Pinterest has some pics to get their imaginations flowing. Engelbert Humperdinck wrote an opera based on the story. Pull it up on Pandora or play the YouTube video while you dine.
